My pieces for Revolution Yoga’s Art Show, and an explanation about “Termites”, because I always get asked, why a heart, why call it termites, etc?
I really liked this one verse from Joseph Arthur’s “Termite Song” (I’d post it, but the file is too large for tumblr) Here’s the verse:
“And though I really tried, I never have been good
And for my missing heart, I carve one out of wood
Now I see the termites crawling into me
After they are finished, I wonder where you’ll be”
So yea, if you’re in the neighborhood, swing by and check out the show. It should be pretty sweet!

REVOLUTION YOGA’S 3rd Art Show and Poetry Slam!
I’ll be displaying 2 (revamped and remixed) older pieces. This will be the first time Jerusalem Rosary is out of my hands, so I hope folk will treat her with respect…otherwise their hands may be liable to catch fire. So yes, do beware.

FYI, Art Show in October
I know this post is waaaaaaay in advance, but it came across my mind so I thought I’d let yall in on it ;)
Our show at Grind Cafe in LIC had a sweet turnout, not to mention a shit load of great feedback from our viewers. Carlos (the curator) is looking to set up another show for October with the same line up of artists (myself included). Whoo :)
I’ll post more info as it comes, so stay tuned folks!
…so for now, I’m hoping my mojo gets back in time :/
Art Show July 11th
A Friend of my homeboy Andre (incredibly awesome illustrator/animator/salsero) is having a birthday/art show shindig on July 11th. Should be a cool setting. I’ll post more info as it becomes available to me.
For now I’m debating whether or not to just submit some old stuff or get cracking on a new piece…hmm. Well I do still have that leftover blank skate deck from the last show. I might just go ahead and do that, and besides - I still have some pent up religious stuff to get out of my system, lol.
