Waiting...on anything and everything
So I stumbled upon a really great resource today that allows artists to submit their work for review with the opportunity to have their work printed (giclee prints) for distribution through their site.
Me, “YAY!”
So I’m currently being reviewed I guess (tho I don’t know how long this process will take). Hopefully it won’t be too long! I may have to cry… like this ;..(
So lets cross our fingers...

I nearly sliced the tip of my finger off!
As I’ve stated in previous posts…BE CAREFUL with knives. Also, be careful OPENING THE WOODEN BOX that contains your knives.
i’m an idiot, lol.
So I was about to start round 2 of carving for the day…I slid the cover off my knife box and felt a zzziiipppp. The tip of my thumb dude. I pretty much had pressed my thumb into the tip of the knife.

Prints are a' comin!
Finally working on designs for a few new woodblock prints. YAY! I’ve been having a bit of a creative block lately - but due to phone call and a cold beer yesterday, I’m proud to announce that “block” is temporarily over.
Things to look forward to:
Unas Elenas (my original print idea for Dos Elenas)
Another bird print (i haven’t thought of a clever name for it yet)
